Sammy Holloman

Sammy Holloman, originally from Toledo, Ohio, is working on her Doctor of Musical Arts at West Virginia University. Sammy graduated with honors from The University of Kansas where she earned a Master of Music in Flute Performance, and she graduated magna cum laude from Kent State University with her Bachelor of Music in Music Education. Sammy is an active clinician and frequently visits local schools to provide workshops for middle and high school students, and she was a featured clinician for the Kansas Flute Society Flute Day in 2019. She has a private studio, teaching students from the East Coast to the West Coast and has taught masterclasses in Ohio, Kansas, and South Dakota. Sammy hopes to one day become a studio professor at the collegiate level where she can pursue her dream of teaching future music educators. When she is not practicing, Sammy enjoys taking her dog, Penny, for long walks, or creating new recipes in the kitchen.
