Brianna Eddy

Brianna Eddy is currently beginning her Doctorate of Piano Performance at West Virginia University. A native Washingtonian, Brianna is proud to have received her Bachelor of Music degree in Keyboard Performance from Central Washington University in 2016, a Master of Music in Keyboard Performance from Central Washington University in 2018 and is an honours graduate with a second Master of Music in Instrumental Performance and Pedagogy from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in June of 2020. 


As a pianist, Brianna has performed both solo and in chamber groups in Aqui Terme, Italy, Arccidosso, Italy, and Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Germany, in the InterHarmony and Sulzbach-Rosenberg International Music Festivals. She as well has competed in the Beryl Chempin Beethoven Prize for Pianists, performed in the Chopin music festival, participated in master classes with Peter Donahoe, has performed at multiple Honors Convocations at Central Washington University, and has been featured in many community recitals. She as well was a part of the 88 Pianist’s music project which broke a world record in partnership with the University of Cambridge. She as well is an experienced music teacher working within the Services for Music Education in the greater Birmingham, UK area. In the winter of 2019, she made her Carnegie Hall debut with the CWU Chamber Choir, performing works by NYC based composer, Ola Gjeilo. She was awarded the CWU Peggy Shaake four-year full tuition music scholarship to study piano, and the CWU School of Graduate Studies Summer Creative Fellowship and Research grant to travel to Vienna, Austria to study classical music history.


In 2018 Brianna worked side by side with Ola Gjeilo, recording his pieces and working as his accompanist during rehearsals. Brianna is passionate about music, teaching piano, and performing. She worked as the Graduate Piano Teaching Assistant at CWU, teaching collegiate Class Piano to non-piano majors, was the student director of the CWU Sonatina Festival from 2015-2018, was the accompanist for the award winning CWU Chamber Choir, and has worked with Bishop Veseys Grammar School in Birmingham, England, teaching private and group piano lessons to primary and secondary school age students.


In her spare time, Brianna enjoys competing in the Miss America Scholarship Organization and many national level pageant systems, where she has been a three-time national talent winner, often placing into the top five for the overall title. She also enjoys mentoring pageant contestants, traveling, and photography.
