A man on a mission

Keith Jackson has been on faculty at WVU for more than 20 years, leading the School of Music as director for the last ten. On July 1, he assumed a new role as interim dean of the College of Creative Arts.

Cello Day & Viola Day coming Fall '17

Join cello Prof. Erin Ellis for Cello Day on Oct. 7, 2017 and Prof. Andrea Houde for Viola Day on Sept. 23, 2017. Events will include masterclasses, technique and scale workshops, and lectures. Cello Day will also have rehearsals with a large cello choir while Viola Day offers "viola yoga." 

Trombone Day scheduled for Sept. 17

Our fourth annual day-long trombone seminar is designed for high-school age trombonists hosted by WVU Trombone Professors Keith Jackson and Brian Plitnik.
