Workshop Announcements

During the 2021 Northeast Horn Workshop, important announcements will be posted here. Please check back for updates.

Announcements

  • Daily Schedule and Link Emails will be sent each evening with information for the following day (i.e. Thursday's events will be sent on Wednesday, etc.) If you have registered for the workshop and have not received an email with links for Thursday's events, please check your spam folder and mark NEHW communications as "not spam." Future emails will all come through Eventbrite. For security reasons, Zoom links will only be emailed to registrants and not shared publicly.
  • Workshop performances will be available throughout the duration of the workshop and for a couple of days after the workshop ends. Most performances will be available at the following YouTube link. Subscribe to the West Virginia University Horn Studio on YouTube to get notifications. Please comment and interact with everyone in the live chat during these performances!
  • Workshop presentations, discussion panels, and masterclasses will all happen over Zoom. Please make sure you have updated your Zoom. Featured artist events on Zoom will each have a specific individual link. Contributing artist events on Zoom will all happen through Breakout Rooms using one main link.
    • Accessing Breakout Rooms - if you have never used Breakout Rooms on Zoom, it can be a little challenging at first. More information on Breakout Rooms is available in the Virtual Workshop Information document. Attend the Open Zoom Information Session at 12pm on Friday to try out Breakout Rooms.
    • Asking questions during Zoom events is encouraged but, for ease of use for all, should be done using the chat function. Someone will be monitoring the chat and will get to questions at an opportune time. Please remain muted throughout the presentation. As possible, there may be open Q&A sessions at the end of each presentation.
