WVU Viola Day
Saturday, Sept. 15
from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
at the WVU Creative Arts Center, Morgantown WV
WVU Viola Day is a one-day event, held each fall, that brings together violists
of all ages and experiences from around the region. Participants have come from
Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maryland, New York, Ohio, Florida, New Jersey, North Carolina,
and West Virginia to enjoy master classes with guest artists, technique classes,
"viola yoga," vendors, viola ensemble reading session, lectures, social activities,
and performances. All violists--and those who love the viola--are welcome!
*New to Viola Day this year will be sessions on body mapping and sessions specifically
for teachers or future teachers.
Register before Sept. 15 for $25. Fill out our online form and
send a $25 check made out to "West Virginia University" with "Viola Day" in
the memo line.

Center. Lunch during Viola Day will be on your own. A full food court is
located in Evansdale Crossing, located behind the Creative Arts Center.
