Saxophone Day

Join us in Morgantown for a day of saxophone fun with students from around the region and guest artist, Robert Young. Participants will have the opportunity to take part in two masterclasses, compete in the Saxolympics, enjoy a recital by Dr. Young and WVU saxophone professor, Dr. Jeff Siegfried, and perform in a concert with the WVU Saxophone Day Saxophone Choir.
This event is appropriate for musically motivated high school students. If you have questions about participating in the workshop,

Register for WVU Saxophone Day
$40 registration fee. Registration payments can be made upon arrival at Saxophone
Day by check, cash, or square reader.

Please be prepared to fill and sign the following forms upon arrival at Saxophone Day or print, fill, sign, and bring them with you to the registration table upon arrival.

- 8:30 – 9:00 am: Registration
- 9:00 – 9:50 am: Saxophone Ensemble Rehearsal
- 10:00 – 10:50 am: Masterclass with Dr. Siegfried
- 11:00 – 11:50 am: Solo Recital – Dr. Young and Dr. Siegfried
- 12:00 – 12:50 pm: Saxolympics
- 1:15 – 2:30pm: Saxophone quartet competition
- 2:30 pm – 3:30 pm: Master Class with Dr. Young
- 4:00 – 5:20 pm: Saxophone Ensemble Sound Check
- 5:30 – 7:00 pm: Grand Finale Saxophone Day Concert
