Opera Theatre

WVU Opera offers a comprehensive program for young singers at the undergraduate and graduate levels, including training in stage movement, interpretation, and character analysis as well as one-on-one coaching of opera roles and scenes. Our goal is to prepare each student for a life in music as a well-rounded musician and artist. To that end students participate in fully staged productions with orchestra, a variety of opera scenes, and the Opera-On-Wheels tour each year.
