Professor - Music History
Throughout his tenure at West Virginia University, C.B. Wilson has instructed various courses including Nineteenth Century Music, Orchestral Literature, The Concerto, the Music of Berlioz, Orchestration, and Arranging. He received his Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University, and his Master’s and Bachelor’s (with Highest Distinction) from Northwestern University. Prior to coming to West Virginia University, he was on the faculties of Northwestern University, Case Western Reserve University, and the Cleveland Institute of Music. Besides his duties with the Division of Music, Dr. Wilson is the Associate Provost for Academic Personnel at West Virginia University.
