Ms. Fei Xia

Soprano Fei Xia is originally from China. ​Currently, a roster artist of Vocal Artists Management, Fei
started learning piano at 9, and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education fromXinghai Conservatory of Music in China. She received her Master of Music degree in vocalperformance from the University of Miami, and Artist Diploma from Montclair State University. Sheis currently working on her doctorate in vocal performance at WVU with the Outstanding MeritFellowship award.


Fei has been selected to engage with several professional opera companies, including Vienna OperaFestival, NYLOP, Angels Vocal Arts Opera Company, Manhattan Opera Studio, Miami ClassicalMusic Festival, Berlin Opera Academy, Connecticut Lyric Opera House Young Artist Opera Program,Taconic Opera Company Young Artist Program, etc. In 2017,Fei made her Carnegie Hall debut as therole of Juliette in Romeo et Juliette with New York Lyric Opera. In 2018, she was invited to performagain, at Carnegie Hall, singing the role of Giulietta in Les contes d'Hoffmann. She then performed theroles of Prima Cercatrice and Una Novizia in Suor Angelica with Montclair State University Opera in2020. Her major opera roles include Zerlina in Don Giovanni, Despina in Cosifan tutte, Annio in Laclemenza di Tito, Second lady in Die Zauberflote, Pamina (cover) in Die Zauberflote, Gretel in Hanselund Gretel, Manon in Manon, Angelica in Orlando. Besides the opera area, she also sang oratoriosfrom Bach, Handel, and Haydn. As an active recitalist, she gave her several solo recitals in China andthe US.


Fei is the prize-winner of numerous national and international music competitions, including 1stPlace in the American Protege International Vocal Competition, 1st Prize in Golden Classical AwardsInternational Music Competition, 1st Prize in “The Song" International Vocal Competition, 1st Prizein Quebec International Music Competition, etc. She recently has been advanced to the final round of 2022 Lucine Amara International Art Song Competition. She was on the finalist in New York MIA Opera Management and the Spain Opera's Management soprano roster in 2020.


Besides the singing and performing, as a voice teacher, she is currently serving as Associate Voice andPiano Faculty at WVU Community Music Program. She previously served as a voice teacher atMusipire Music Company from 2017-2018. She built up her own private teaching studio in New YorkCity in 2017. Official Website:
