Cello & Bass Day
Join us in Morgantown for an exciting and fun day of low strings nerdom! This year, we will be joining forces with our bass clef pals and forming an awesome ensemble of both cellos and basses. Get ready for some low string rumbling! If you need some new inspiration and are tired of practicing by yourself, please join us to celebrate making music together. Participants will have the opportunity to participate in a group workshop and/or performance class (separated by instrument), play with the cello and bass choir, and enjoy fellowship with other bass clef enthusiasts. Come make new friends, improve your technique, and shake off the post-pandemic blues!
Please note: There are a limited number of spots available for a solo masterclass opportunity. Please make your masterclass request on the registration form! We will try to honor as many requests as possible, but cannot guarantee.
Appropriate for students, amateurs and professionals of all ages that have been playing for at least one year and/or can read music. If you have questions about participating in the workshop, please contact Erin Ellis ( erin.ellis@mail.wvu.edu). All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Register today for an unforgettable experience!
