The curriculum includes a broad array of core music fundamentals alongside the undergraduate courses required for admission into one of several health or medical career pathways. This major is intended for students who wish to study music as their undergraduate focus and then pursue medicine as a career, and/or those who would like to continue pursuing music professionally while also practicing medicine.
