WVUSOM faculty and students will make meaningful contributions in research and creativity activity at the local, regional, national, and international levels.
Objective 1
Cultivate excellence in faculty research and creative activity.
Action Items
- Contribute to the pursuit and accomplishment of our mission through substantive achievement in faculty research and creative activity.
- Celebrate continuing faculty achievement in research and creativity activity.
- Allocate financial resources to provide course release to faculty who are undertaking innovative projects, including those that assist students and serve the WVUSOM's mission.
- Provide mentorship and continuing education in research and creativity activity to all WVUSOM faculty members.
- Recognize and reward faculty who engage in international-caliber productivity.
